FUN RUN!!!!

Kindergarten celebrated their 100th day of school on Wednesday, Feb. 8! We have enjoyed many days of fun, learning and exploring together. We participated in a community service project. Our goal was to collect a total of 100 cans to donate to a local community organization. We exceeded our goal…by a lot! Kindergarten collected a total of 305 canned goods!

Thank you to all of the grownups who helped to pull off today's successful Willow Lower School Fun Run on the Brees Family Field. Special thanks to Coach D and our Fun Run Committee, and to all of the middle and high school staff and students who came out to cheer on our runners!

Mr. Barrau was joined by Ms. Carney, Ms. Flynn, and Ms. Webb to perform Israel Kamakawiwoʻole's version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow at Morning Meeting today.

Thank you to The Pelicans for donating 500 tickets to last Sunday's game for our students, staff and families! Player Larry Nance even donned a Willow School shirt and took photos with our students and families! What a great night (capped by a WIN over Sacramento!)

On the 100th day of first grade, students jumped 100 times, read 100 books collectively, made 100th day hats, and participated in other fun activities to mark the auspicious day.
