Kindergarten celebrated their 100th day of school on Wednesday, Feb. 8! We have enjoyed many days of fun, learning and exploring together. We participated in a community service project. Our goal was to collect a total of 100 cans to donate to a local community organization. We exceeded our goal…by a lot! Kindergarten collected a total of 305 canned goods!

Thank you to The Pelicans for donating 500 tickets to last Sunday's game for our students, staff and families! Player Larry Nance even donned a Willow School shirt and took photos with our students and families! What a great night (capped by a WIN over Sacramento!)

The Tiger class (kindergarten) visited the Gecko class (first grade) to see their animal research books and their theater Arts Integration project- habitat puppet stages and animal puppets. The Geckos enjoyed sharing their research, and The Tigers loved learning more about animals and getting a peek at what they will learn next year!

Our K-12 community gathered Tuesday for a day of DEI work. We were led by Maroon, a local business with experts in this field. We left with clarity and the ability to define these terms and envision how we would apply our new knowlege to our daily practice.
