"Thank you, Mother Earth" art in Ms. Squassoni's 1st grade class

Mr. Barrau and Ms. Robertson's 2nd graders sang "Pure Imagination" during Morning Meeting.

Ms. Mitchell visited Ms. Boyer's kindergarten Elephant Class for Thankful Thursday. Some things they were thankful for were: Winter Break, tigers, families, dogs, teachers, Willow School, transportation, friends, and grandmas.

At Morning Meeting, Coach D reminded us that this school belongs to all of us, and we're each responsible for taking care of it. She thanked Ms. Agostinho's class and Ms. Maloney's class for helping her clean up snack litter, and encouraged us all to help keep our school clean and wonderful.

The Scouts meeting this week included soap carving, fencing and keeping it safe during those activities.

On Thursday, the 2nd grade classes presented the Balloons Over Willow Thanksgiving Parade. What a festive event with such creative balloon floats! Happy Thanksgiving from The Willow Lower School!

Congrats to the Willow Lower School Chess Team on their recent successes!

Over 100 students and their families attended Fall Family Fun Night to play reading and games. Mrs. deVeer and Ms. Ruf organized the event and several teachers pitched in to facilitate activities. When a child was asked if she enjoyed it, she replied, "Family Fun Night was EPIC!"
