The Willow Middle School

At the beginning of our school year, our entire middle school worked on a special arts integration project. During advisory, we identified the symbolism of a willow tree and examined three paintings by Vincent van Gogh centered on a willow tree. We reflected on our new school name and how our school reflects the symbolic characteristics of a willow tree. We created green leaves that represent our own unique and individual characteristics. Before the winter break, our TAV students and our visual arts teacher Ms. Bagneris created an amazing piece of artwork using all of the leaves. The finished product is on display outside of our Marsalis auditorium.
