Willow 7th grader Emma Aldana Huelga competed at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Track & Field Championship in Boston on March 13-14. She ran 5:12.96 in the middle school girls’ 1-mile race and delivered an outstanding performance in the 800 meters, setting a personal record of 2:18.99 and finishing 6th in the event.
