Willow Middle School science teacher Jodi Sanchez has been selected as the 2024 Louisiana Science Teachers Association's (LSTA) Outstanding Middle School Science Teacher of the Year. She is one of three dynamic classroom educators designated as an LSTA Outstanding Science Teacher this year. As an LSTA Outstanding Science Teacher of the Year, Ms. Sanchez will receive a $400 cash award; a plaque; recognition at the association's Awards Ceremony in November; and acknowledgement in LASER, the group's newsletter.
