On May 16, our Middle School celebrated Arts Fest, an annual event at the Marsalis Campus in which our students showcase for their peers what they have learned in their exploratory classes.
Students performed a portion of the play A Midsummer Night's Dream, listened to the Grade 5 - 7 choir, and heard choral readings from Creative Writing. They also viewed artwork created by their classmates and listened to musical performances from our Band and Orchestra. They also were able to see beautiful dance performances and listen to multiple piano recitals. There were many more arts performances through the entire day.
The day ended with a nice treat- popsicles for all of the students! It truly was a magical event.
