The Willow Middle School

On May 14, students from Willow Middle School’s Black History Club attended a symposium commemorating the 70th anniversary of the landmark Brown vs. Board of Education school desegregation decision. A limited number of middle schoolers from across the city were invited by Maroon to the event. It is very important that we recognize and understand how events of the past have an impact on our present and future. We are very proud of our Black History Club and their sponsor Ms. Thierry for all that they have done for our community.
