Mrs. Sessum is our new 2nd grade teacher.  Here’s a little about Ms. Sessum.

What do you love most about your work?

I love teaching because it gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in my local community.

Who inspires you? Why?

I am inspired by all of the hard working mothers out there. I am a new mom, and being a mom and working full time has proven to be the greatest challenge of my life.

What fills you with joy?

Hearing my one-year-old baby boy Samuel laugh just fills my heart with joy. His laugh is so infectious and so genuine.

Share one fun fact about yourself.

I love to make my own Mardi Gras costumes, especially headpieces. One day I hope to have enough free time to be able to make and sell my art on the side.
