You would think it was “opposite day” if you attended Morning Meeting on Monday. Mindful Monday was held in front of the school instead of the usual spot in the back by the stage.
We celebrated our new school name by unveiling The Willow School arch over the front entrance to the school.
Mrs. Rice opened with the pledge and “Willow Breathing” (ask a student to show you). She then said this school is a place where we all belong and value relationships. We live our core values of respect, responsibility, doing our best work, socially and emotionally, and through high academics and the arts.
Ms. London (Interim CEO) was introduced and spoke about the rich tradition and new beginning of The Willow School. She was followed by the beloved song Learning the Willow Way.
