Congrats to the Willow Academic Games teams!
Last month, they competed in their 2nd game of the regular season, Equations, where the Senior Division team recorded yet another 1st place finish. Contributors to that team include seniors Jack McAvoy (tie-2nd), Atticus Stricklin (tie-4th) and William Xi (tie-9th), as well as junior Roy Wilkes (tie-4th). (William also finished 9th in the first game of the regular season, Propaganda).
In the Middle Division, 8th grader Ayan Jayawickramarajah placed 10th in Propaganda and tied for 5th in Equations. His team recorded a 1st place finish in Equations.
Congratulations to these outstanding thinkers for their distinguished representation of The Willow School and best of luck as they compete in two more games this spring!
On Wednesday (the last day before exams!), high school students may wear holiday jammies, and there will be an open mic on the front steps for their favorite holiday songs! Let's get in the spirit and kick off Winter Break with a bang!
