The newly organized Willow Sailing Team competed in their first regatta (Great Oaks Invitational SEISA District Qualifier) on Oct. 14. Despite having no opportunity to practice together before race day, Willow finished 3rd overall, beating out Jesuit, Sacred Heart and Ursuline to secure 1 of 28 spots nationwide for the upcoming 2023 Allstate Sugar Bowl Great Oaks Invitational Regatta.
