Congratulations to Willow 6th grader Lala Scholl! She will be among 10 young athletes to be featured in a new special section in Sports Illustrated as part of the magazine's collaboration with the beauty brand Dove. The special issue, called Sports re-Illustrated, aims to demonstrate that athleticism comes in all shapes, sizes and abilities, and inspire a new generation of girls to embrace their individuality and pursue their passions with confidence. The special edition coincides with Dove's Big Game Super Bowl spot, and brings attention to the Dove Body Confident Sport program, a coaching tool to build body confidence in 11- to 17-year-old girls and keep girls thriving in sports. The issue has been distributed in New Orleans this week and will run as a special section in the magazine's March issue.
